About the design

This chair is inspired by the Japanese 'Torii' gates, evident in its design that emphasizes harmony and calm. It features closely spaced back legs, a broad seat, and a small arched backrest. The construction combines traditional and advanced joinery techniques, resulting in a thin, light, yet strong chair. The finish is a low build water-based polyurethane, giving the wood a natural, open-grain appearance that's smooth to touch and durable. The wood seat Torii chair is available exclusively in Black stained Ash.
