It features traditional exposed mortise and tenon joinery for strength and an honest design expression. The arched backrest is cleverly joined to each back leg for durability, while maintaining a thin and light profile. The stool is finished with a low build water-based polyurethane for a natural open-grain appearance, smooth to the touch and durable. A solid aluminum foot rail protects the wood frame.
