Semi Pendant Lamp Ø47 cm

Designed in 1968 by Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup, the Semi Pendant lamp is a product of creative partnership. The lamp is based on two quarter-circles put together, back-to-back, forming its distinctive arch-shaped, enamelled metal shade.The design was a reaction against the soft organic forms that were prevalent in Denmark at the time. The lamp won first prize in a competition at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture.In the 1980s, it became the best-selling Danish design and gained worldwide recognition. The lamp features a range of colors and sizes, making it extremely versatile for both private and public spaces.
