Designed by French brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, Palissade is a collection of outdoor furniture for HAY in powder coated or hot galvanised steel. United by a common principle of symmetrical geometry, the Palissade collection is engineered to reproduce the same visual simplicity and core strength throughout. Designed in colour and form to integrate effortlessly into a natural landscape or urban setting, Palissade is intended to be used over a longer period of time and become more beautiful over the years. The collection is suited to a wide variety of environments, from cafés and restaurants to gardens, terraces and balconies.

About the design

Palissade is an elegant series of outdoor furniture designed by the two French brothers, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec. Palissade is a collection of beautiful and robust outdoor furniture which has a simple design language that makes them easy to use and decorate, from the backyard to larger public park areas or the small outdoor Café. The design behind the beautiful series is based on a monotonous design language, as the entire collection is created from round metal pipes and metal slats. Based on this simple design, the two brothers have shaped to produce a large number of different versions of Palissade which include benches, stools and chairs. In the Palissade series you will also find this beautiful armchair, which comes in both a low and high version. The armchair is perfect on the terrace or the small cozy nook in the garden where you enjoy the sun, or relax in the evening. The Palissade armchair can also be ideally combined with the Palissade ottoman, so you can swing your feet up and really relax.
