Les Acrobates de Gras is a series of lamps from French DCW éditions designed by Bernard-Albin Gras and launched in 2015. As the name suggests, the designer has been inspired by the French circus scene. The design and lines of the lamp imitate acrobats swinging in the air and the diagonal cables create dynamism.
What is special about the Les Acrobates lamp series is the multitude of ways that the number of lamps and shades can be combined, giving endless possibilities to create your own design.
In the instance of the Les Acrobates de Gras No 324 - Glass Ball the light consists of two glass globes that are tied together by four cables. The ceiling lamp is available in two sizes, 17.5 cm or 25 cm in diameter, and is suspended by two black adjustable textile cables that each have a ceiling mount, which means that the cables hang diagonally.
