Halten SH9 Side Table

When the German designer Sebastian Herkner designed the Halten Side Table SH9 for & Tradition his aim was to create a portable side table that was versatile enough to match any armchair, sofa or pouf. The solution was a linear structure with a handle that makes it easy to move the table when needed.

The name "Halten", derived from the German words for "hold, stay and last", sums up the concept of creating a moment of pause wherever the side table is placed. Each element, from robustness to mobility, reflects conscious choices aimed at achieving coherence. This demonstrates Herkner's meticulous attention to detail, his appreciation of form and the use of precious materials.

Positioned at the perfect height for an average sofa or alongside other side and coffee tables, Halten is designed to be the ideal partner. The table tops are available in elegant Verde Guatemala marble or smoked cast glass, paired with polished stainless steel or warm black powder-coated steel for the base.
