101 Copenhagen co-founders Kristian Sofus Hansen &amp Tommy Hyldahl lay their manifesto for the brand out with the Brutus Dining Chair.

About the design

Forming part of the Brutus collection from 101 Copenhagen, the Brutus Dining Chair takes its visual cue from the Brutalist architecture that dominated cityscapes across much of Europe in the wake of the Second World War. Though made from hardwearing fiber concrete there s a real beauty to the Brutus Dining Chair, with the structural qualities of the object making for a decorative piece which stands largely alone in the home furnishings arena. Available in a series of colour-ways, and with a choice of cushion or not, the Brutus Chair is a real statement piece.
