This iconic chair made its debut at the Danish Museum of Art & Design in Copenhagen during the Designers Spring Exhibition, capturing attention and acclaim. Later that year, it took center stage at the Triennale in Milan, where it earned the prestigious Grand Prix award for being the most distinctive work of the show.

The Grand Prix chair features exquisite wooden legs that harmoniously complement its elegant shell, available in a variety of wood types and finishes. Crafted from moulded veneer, like Arne Jacobsen's renowned Myran and Sjuan chairs, the shell is meticulously formed from nine layers of high-quality veneer and two layers of Indian cotton, all shaped through a steaming process.
