Pivot ATD7 Portable Lamp

The Pivot ATD7 Portable Lamp from &Tradition is a strictly geometric piece of lighting built from painted and mirror-polished steel. It is constructed by bending and welding the metal into rigid, cubic shapes, resulting in a sharp, structural profile. Standing 26 centimeters tall with a compact 10-centimeter square footprint, it takes up very little surface area. This scale makes it easy to position on a crowded dining table, a narrow bookshelf, or a small windowsill without getting in the way. Rather than using a standard cylindrical or domed top, the lamp's defining feature is its block shade, which is set precisely at a 45-degree angle to the solid base. This specific tilt directs the internal LED to diffuse softly downward and outward. It is designed to mimic the warm, localized glow of a candle, providing just enough focused light to illuminate a meal or a dark corner without casting a harsh glare across the rest of the room. As a fully portable, battery-powered fixture, it completely removes the need to route wires or rely on nearby wall outlets. It charges via a simple magnetic USB cable and delivers up to 20 hours of continuous light on a single charge. A built-in, three-step dimmer allows you to easily drop the brightness from full capacity down to a quiet 40 percent. Available in contrasting, two-tone finishes like Blue Silver and Rusty Mint, it is a heavy, durable object that brings highly controlled, practical light wherever it is set down.
