The Pavilion AV4 Armchair by &Tradition, created by the award-winning design duo Anderssen & Voll, is an elegant, stackable indoor dining chair that beautifully fuses early and new modernism. Originally designed for the iconic Langelinie Pavilion in Copenhagen, this chair features a fluid, airy silhouette achieved through a gently curved, form-pressed veneer backrest and an organically bent steel tube frame. It balances a highly artistic aesthetic with contract-grade functionality, offering a built-in plastic stacking tray underneath the seat that allows up to 10 chairs to be stacked neatly on a trolley. Optimized for absolute comfort during prolonged seating, the AV4 model incorporates an integrated seat padded with high-resilience (HR) foam and can be customized in premium Kvadrat fabrics or supple semi-aniline Elmosoft leather. Measuring 77.5 cm in height with a 46 cm seat height and 76 cm high armrests, the FSC-certified design is available in Lacquered Oak, Black Lacquered Oak, or Lacquered Walnut finishes paired with either a sleek black or contemporary chrome base.
