Steeped in more than 170 years of master saddlery and upholstery tradition, this specialized team of textile technologists, master craftsmen, and ergonomic specialists preserves artisanal hand-methods while engineering natural sleep microclimates. The team oversees the architecture, material formulation, and structural longevity across Hästens' bespoke beds, headboards, and linen accessories. Rejecting synthetic foams, they meticulously specify and test balanced strata of hand-teased horsetail hair, pure wool, breathable cotton, and unbleached flax nested around heat-treated Swedish pocket springs and slow-grown pine frames. They ensure the precision of hand-side-stitching, tufting rosettes, and the alignment of Jack Ryde's iconic 1978 Blue Check jacquard weave.
