Tonella Lounge Chair

Originating from Sancal's early days of manufacturing classic French-style chairs, the Tonella Lounge Chair represents a modern reinterpretation of these origins. Designed by the Swedish design studio Note, this chair is a contemporary take on a dressing-table chair, now more compact to fit into small spaces. Despite its reduced size, it maintains a high level of comfort and durability. The chair features a Marie Antoinette-style seat, back, and arms made from molded polyurethane foam. The interior can be upholstered in fabric or leather, while the outer area is quilted to mimic the barrel style lines of the base, available only in fabric. The Tonella has slightly larger dimensions than the original small armchair, offering a wider and comfortable seating experience while preserving the essence of the initial design.
