PK26 is a unique sofa, designed by Poul Kjærholm in 1956.
PK26 is wall-mounted and made of Poul Kjærholm's favorite material, steel. The beautiful curves in the steel, seat and back create a graceful elegance that goes beautifully with the sofa's minimalist expression. This is a unique piece of a design classic for the bold, modern interior.
Poul Kjærholm was originally a trained carpenter and later graduated from the School of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen. Poul Kjærholm had a great interest in steel as a material. An interest that is pervasive in his designs and, among other things, the chairs PK25 and PK4.
