The Japan 3-Person Sofa by Finn Juhl from House of Finn Juhl is a minimalist masterpiece, inspired by traditional Japanese building techniques. It stands out with its solid horizontal backrest resting on slightly tapered legs, reminiscent of a Japanese temple door.

About the design

This sofa's design deviates from Finn Juhl's earlier furniture designs, featuring a circular recess at the end of the backrest that adds an optically refined impression. The Japan series is produced by Onecollection in oak and walnut. The sofa's design, emphasizing deviation in details, is a typical characteristic of Finn Juhl's approach.
