The E005 Embrace Armchair, a collaboration between Carl Hansen &amp Søn and EOOS, is a fusion of modern aesthetics and traditional craftsmanship. Introduced in 2015, it offers superior comfort with organic materials and adds a sculptural element to any interior.

About the design

The Embrace Armchair combines EOOS's contemporary design approach with Carl Hansen &amp Søn's quality craftsmanship. The chair features a soft, three-dimensional cushion that serves as the seat, back, and armrests, enveloping the wooden structure and appearing to float within the frame. The wooden structure is continuous, with the legs forming an integral part of the overall silhouette. The back of the frame, made of three pieces joined by classic finger joints, is particularly striking. This armchair is part of the Embrace Series, showcasing a precise yet relaxed expression.
