Edge Chair w/armrests

The Edge Chair with Armrests from Cane-line is a robust, weather-resistant seating solution built strictly for outdoor longevity. Designed by the Danish studio Strand+Hvass, the chair relies on a lightweight but highly rigid aluminum frame. Rather than using solid panels or standard outdoor upholstery, the seat, back, and armrests are tightly wrapped in Cane-line Rope. This specialized polypropylene material provides the tactile, textured look of traditional rattan while remaining entirely synthetic, ensuring it won't rot, snap, or fade when exposed to direct sunlight or heavy rain. Its shape is highly pragmatic, featuring a subtly curved backrest and flat, integrated armrests that offer immediate support without boxing the user in. Because the woven material has a natural, slight flex to it, the chair remains comfortable for long outdoor dinners even without the addition of a heavy seat cushion. The open weave also allows water to pass right through the seat, meaning the chair dries incredibly fast after a storm rather than pooling water on the surface. To maximize utility on smaller patios or crowded terraces, the Edge Chair is fully stackable. This allows you to easily condense and store multiple chairs in a tight footprint during the off-season or when clearing deck space. Finished in muted, architectural tones like deep anthracite, it is a low-maintenance, heavy-duty dining chair that combines straightforward Danish geometry with high-performance materials.
