Description

Column by John Astbury for &Tradition is a small series consisting of two wall shelves that differ in proportions, surface structures and materials, but together create a harmonious impression. The British designer was inspired for the series by classic architectural columns.

About the design

Unlike its smaller sibling, JA1 the JA2 is designed with a rectangular shelf and double columns. The purpose of both is the same, as they are designed to free up space in interiors that have become overcrowded with decorative details. The designer has also placed great emphasis on keeping the design simple and beautiful, but at the same time not perceived as intrusive or dominating in the room.
