About the design
Introduced in 1966, the design of the CH53 Stool has been stripped back to the barest essentials. With a simple jointed frame of solid wood, and a hand-woven paper cord seat, the stool embodies the same Shaker principles as the larger CH44 Easy Chair. Embodying simplicity, honesty, and functionality, Wegner s designs are always multi-functional pieces that can be used anywhere in the home. Alongside a lounge chair, it makes the perfect footstool but can be used elsewhere in the home as an elegant seat.
