About the design
Originally part of an exclusive office concept, the CH110 desk is amongst a series of Wegner s most distinctive steel-framed furniture. The CH110 Series, originally created in the 1970 s, was relaunched in 2008 in celebration of Carl Hansen & Søn s 100th anniversary. Wegner illustrates his talent for furniture design, by combining a desk surface, rails, and two slender drawers into one veneered element, all resting upon two slim supporting legs in striking stainless flat steel.The expansive desktop provides the ideal conditions for work & study and the beautifully incorporated drawers provide locked-away storage. The intricacy and the finer details perfect the CH110 desk with dovetailed joints to the drawers, delicate handles, and practical divisions in each drawer - one equipped with a small tray, with a rounded bottom, intended for storing small, precious things.
