About venue
Restaurant Anker is located in a new building that fits in well with the existing environment around the marina. The scale of the area is small with small sheds, boat houses, fish shops and club rooms. In order not to break the scale, the building's roof is divided into smaller units, so that the roof consists of three gabled roofs.
In terms of materials, the new two-storey building is also well suited. A combination of black wood and grey brick gives a maritime and modern look at the same time. On arrival at the building, you are met by a sculptural brick chimney, which which draws inspiration from a Bornholm smokehouse.
The floor is a brick floor, which is very durable, but at the same time beautiful and fine in line with the maritime atmosphere. The ceilings are covered with black Troldtekt acoustic panels, which provide a calm, continuous ceiling surface and good acoustics.
