Czech design partnership Jan Plecháč and Henry Wielgus—founded in Prague in 2011—is celebrated for an experimental, narrative-driven practice that operates between gallery craft and industrial product development. Meeting while studying at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design (UMPRUM) in Prague, the duo quickly captured international attention. The studio gained prominent global acclaim for their collaborative designs with premier international labels. For Danish brand Audo Copenhagen (formerly Menu), they conceived the Tribeca lighting series, drawing inspiration from mid-century Manhattan glamor with exposed brass hardware, and the minimalist Wire series. For Italian brand Cappellini, they created the skeletal wireframe Circles collection.
