Pavilion AV3 Chair

The Pavilion AV3 Chair by &Tradition, conceptualized by designers Anderssen & Voll, delivers the same early-modernist elegance and fluid, airy aesthetic as its counterpart, but in a streamlined, armless side chair profile. Originally created for Copenhagen’s iconic Langelinie Pavilion, its lyrical silhouette is defined by a slender, organically bent tubular steel frame paired with a gently curved, form-pressed veneer backrest finished in protective PU lacquer. This configuration is intentionally optimized for high-density dining environments and multi-functional spaces, featuring an injection-molded plastic stacking tray hidden underneath the seat that allows up to 8 chairs to be stacked neatly on the floor, or up to 10 chairs on a specialized mobile trolley. To deliver long-lasting comfort during extensive dinner parties or business meetings, the AV3 comes equipped with a padded seat layered with high-resilience (HR) foam, fully customizable in an expansive array of premium Kvadrat textiles or luxurious CA-MO Silk aniline leathers. Measuring 77.5 cm in total height, 53.5 cm in width, and 51 cm in depth with a comfortable 46 cm seat height, this 5 kg contract-grade chair is built from FSC-certified wood available in Lacquered Oak, Black Lacquered Oak, or Lacquered Walnut. Each piece features signature accent fittings on the front of the backrest that can be configured in standard black, contemporary chrome, or classic brass to effortlessly complement a black powder-coated or sleek chrome frame.
