Nomad Chair

The Nomad Chair by Norr11 is a Nordic reinterpretation of the traditional Moroccan wicker chair, designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl in 2017. This sculptural lounge chair is defined by its oversized, semi-transparent back and seat, which are handcrafted from two large molded bamboo frames with hand-woven French rattan inlays. The design highlights the natural construction with a single back leg that runs from the floor to the top of the frame, providing both structural support and a distinctive silhouette. For added comfort, the chair includes a seat cushion and an adjustable neck pillow made from premium aniline leather, which can be set to three different heights using brass knobs. Measuring 100 cm in width and 110 cm in height, the Nomad is finished with a durable water-based clear lacquer and is available in two primary colorways: natural bamboo with cognac leather or black-stained bamboo with black leather
