Toronto-based industrial designers Thomas Chung and Jordan Murphy are celebrated for an understated, material-driven collaboration that merges North American pragmatism with serene Scandinavian reduction. Operating across multidisciplinary practices, both designers share a fascination with honest manufacturing, unlacquered metals, and intuitive domestic interaction. The duo achieved prominent global acclaim through their celebrated collaboration with Danish design house Audo Copenhagen (formerly Menu). Their crowning achievement is the Cast Pendant series—a family of minimalist cast-aluminum pendants inspired by traditional plumb bobs and cast-metal weights used by masons. Finished with a textured, matte powder coat and warm LED optics, the lamps hang individually or in geometric clusters, casting glare-free downward light.
