Box Arkitekter

Stockholm-based studio Box Arkitekter, founded by interior architects and designers Ann Morsing and Beban Nord, is recognized for an approach rooted in structural honesty, functional proportion, and clean Scandinavian lines. Both trained at the prestigious Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, the duo established the practice to bridge architectural spatial thinking with refined product design and furniture collections under their Box Design label. They achieved notable acclaim through their long-running collaboration with heritage Swedish lighting manufacturer Örsjö Belysning. For Örsjö, they designed the celebrated PJ series (including the PJ50 and PJ65), reinterpreting industrial workshop luminaires into versatile, architectural task lamps made from enameled steel with exposed mechanical joints.
