Anna Maria Øfstedal Eng
Norwegian product designer and sculptor Anna Maria Øfstedal Eng (b. 1993) is celebrated for subverting rigid industrial forms through unruly, free-flowing organic morphologies. Earning her Master's in Product Design from Oslo Metropolitan University, she operates from her workshop in Fjellhamar, creating objects that bridge functional design and fine art. Øfstedal Eng achieved international design prominence through her acclaimed collaboration with Danish design house ferm LIVING. For ferm LIVING, she conceived the sculptural Drape and Alza concepts, alongside the Etched and Troll collections. Working intuitively with spalted Norwegian birch, hand-cast aluminum, and wild clay, her pieces mimic moss-covered rocks, melting wax, and natural geological erosions.
