Tim Rundle
New Zealand-born, London-based industrial designer Tim Rundle is celebrated for an analytical, context-driven approach that operates at the intersection of architecture and everyday living. Educated at Victoria University of Wellington, Rundle directed design teams for Tom Dixon and Conran and Partners before establishing Tim Rundle Studio in 2015. His work pares away superfluous ornament, focusing on manufacturing clarity, material performance, and proportion. Rundle achieved global acclaim through his defining collaboration with Audo Copenhagen (formerly MENU). He created the versatile TR Bulb system—an all-in-one LED bulb and opal glass diffuser designed to screw into simple fittings to democratize urban lighting. For Australian brand SP01, he authored an extensive indoor collection featuring the Caristo lounge chair, Shu-Ying armchair, and Mohana glass-and-marble tables, alongside commissions for brands like Resident and Bensen.
