It was introduced at the designers' spring fair at Designmuseum Danmark in 1957 and achieved great recognition at the Triennale in Milan that same year, where it won the Grand Prix, the highest award at the exhibition. The acclaimed chair is available with different frames, which make it possible to adapt it to individual preferences through a choice of colors and types of wood. The 3139 bar stool has a tubular steel footrest that wraps around the extended legs on all sides, ensuring visual balance in the chair's simple and clean design.
