The HAY About A Chair AAC 12 designed by Hee Welling is a fundamental part of the versatile About A collection, sharing the same minimalist philosophy as the AAC 22 but with a distinct base construction. The design features an injection-moulded solid-coloured polypropylene shell with a curved back and integrated armrests that provide a supportive and comfortable seat. Unlike its sister models, the AAC 12 is defined by its solid wood base consisting of four straight legs that create a more upright and architectural profile. This symmetrical wooden frame provides a stable foundation and a warm, natural contrast to the industrial plastic shell. The chair is crafted with a focus on simplicity and functionality, making it suitable for a wide range of environments including corporate boardrooms, dining areas, and guest rooms at the AC Hotel Bella Sky. The shell is produced using 100% recycled post-consumer plastic, aligning with contemporary sustainability standards while ensuring long-lasting durability.
