J46 Chair - Beech

The FDB Møbler J46 Chair designed by Poul M. Volther in 1956 is one of the most recognizable and beloved pieces of Danish furniture, serving as a defining example of the functionalist design movement. Originally created to provide high-quality, affordable seating for the average home, the chair is characterized by its lightweight construction and an airy, fan-shaped backrest made of slender wooden spindles.
