Søren Rose Studio

Founded in 2008 by Danish entrepreneur and creative director Søren Rose, Søren Rose Studio operates between Copenhagen and New York, merging Scandinavian craft discipline with raw American industrial energy. The studio approaches product and spatial design with an obsessive focus on tactile materials, enduring joinery, and a modern vintage sensibility. The studio gained global acclaim through its long-standing collaboration with Audo Copenhagen (formerly MENU). Inspired by a road trip through 1930s America, Rose collected vintage lamps and disassembled them to create the iconic Tribeca lighting series—celebrated for its bare bulbs, articulated solid brass arms, and cast-steel joints, seen in fixtures like the Leonard and Warren chandeliers. The studio has also created acclaimed designs for brands such as Muuto, Fritz Hansen, and Cane-line, including the minimalist Basket outdoor series.
