Rodolfo Dordoni
Milanese architect and master designer Rodolfo Dordoni (1954–2023) was an essential titan of contemporary Italian design, celebrated for defining the understated, refined aesthetic of luxury living. Graduating in architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 1979, Dordoni served as art director for elite houses, most notably guiding the creative vision of Minotti from 1997 until his passing. Dordoni achieved international acclaim for balanced seating systems, architectural lighting, and outdoor living. Landmarks include the modular Hamilton, Freeman, and Connery seating systems for Minotti, alongside the blown-glass Lumiere lamp for Foscarini and the Flute series for FontanaArte. He also authored iconic contract and residential collections for Flos, Kettal, Cassina, and Poltrona Frau.
