Norm Architects & Els van Hoorebeeck

Copenhagen-based multidisciplinary studio Norm Architects and Belgian interior architect Els van Hoorebeeck (Head of Design at The Office Group) joined forces to redefine the boundaries between commercial workspace functionality and residential warmth. Norm Architects—renowned for their "soft minimalism" that emphasizes tactile natural materials and spatial balance—paired their architectural rigor with van Hoorebeeck’s extensive expertise in high-density, flexible work environments. Their defining collaboration is the versatile Co Chair collection designed for Audo Copenhagen (formerly MENU). Engineered to address the multifaceted seating needs of modern co-working hubs, conference halls, and dining spaces, the collection pairs a slender powder-coated steel frame with wide, curved veneer backrests and ergonomically positioned armrests. The design seamlessly scales from stackable dining chairs to swivel office task chairs.
