Copenhagen-based architect, artist, and designer Kaja Skytte is celebrated for an ethereal, geometric practice operating at the intersection of interior architecture, botanical design, and mobile kinetic art. Graduating from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts (KADK) in 2013, Skytte explores how weight, reflection, and natural materials interact with domestic space. Skytte achieved international design recognition for her sculptural suspended objects and desktop accessories. Her defining breakthrough is the Planteplaneter (Plant Planets)—suspended indoor plants encased in kokedama-inspired moss spheres hung on polished brass wires—alongside the Ginkgo wall decorations and the Galaxy Globe kinetic mobiles. Her work frequently incorporates unlacquered brass, spun copper, and polished natural stones.
