Designed in the late 1950s, the Møller Model 57 Chair is characterised by its exquisite and careful refined detailing. Møller incorporated the traditional, twisted paper cord into the seat design of his chairs, synonymous with Scandinavian design today. Today, J. L. Møller is run by Niels’ granddaughter Kristen Møller who took over from her father, Jorgen, in 2018. Kristen brings a youthful approach to the business, while honouring the traditional craftsmanship and the Møller factory proudly remains a workshop free of assembly lines.
