Runa Klock
Norwegian industrial and interior designer Runa Klock (b. 1977) is celebrated for bringing biomimetic honesty, social responsibility, and circular material innovation to contemporary Nordic design. Graduating from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, Klock established her Oslo studio in 2009, exploring how local natural resources and waste streams can enrich everyday objects. Klock gained prominent international acclaim through acclaimed collections for leading Scandinavian brands. For Swedish acoustic specialist Abstracta, she designed the geometric Lily and Sahara acoustic wall and ceiling panels, crafted from recycled post-consumer textiles and pressed cork. For Norwegian heritage brand Røros Tweed, she created tactile pure wool blankets, alongside lighting for Northern and glassware celebrating volcanic stone and Scandinavian flora.
