Andreas Lund & Jacob Rudbeck

Danish designers Andreas Lund and Jacob Rudbeck are acclaimed for a collaborative practice that explores the harmonious intersection of functional simplicity, material honesty, and expressive silhouettes. Lund, a graduate of the Danish Design School, and Rudbeck, educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Architecture, combine industrial product discipline with architectural spatial awareness, dedicated to creating objects that possess personality without visual noise. The duo gained global recognition through their celebrated collaboration with Normann Copenhagen, most notably creating the iconic Bell Lamp series. Taking inspiration from the elemental geometry of a classic bell, the pendant features a robust spun-aluminum shade paired with a tactile rubber suspension joint, celebrating the fixture's mechanical assembly rather than concealing it.
