Description

The Gomo Lounge Chair 5721 by Fredericia is a modern, eco-labeled Scandinavian masterpiece designed by Portuguese-born designer Hugo Passos that strikes a flawless balance between playful, organic fluidity and forward-thinking circular design. Born from Fredericia's "Circular by Design" principle, this low-profile chair derives its distinct identity from an intriguing legless, monolithic silhouette, revealing specific curves and sweeping angles that embrace the body without demanding a massive footprint. It is built around a heavy-duty frame made from moulded FSC-certified plywood and furniture board, supported by nylon webbing and wrapped in plush, high-resiliency CMHR foam for a deeply comfortable, supportive lounge experience. A standout functional feature of the Gomo collection is its entirely refreshable design; the fully upholstered fabric covers are fastened with Velcro and completely removable, allowing the chair to be easily re-dressed or deep-cleaned to extend its life cycle far beyond industry standards. Measuring 72 cm wide, 66 cm deep, and 75 cm high with a relaxed 41 cm seat height, the made-to-order piece is available with a hidden fixed base on non-slip glides or a smooth metal swivel base. Highly versatile and meeting strict contract-grade standards, the chair can be tailored in an expansive library of high-end materials—ranging from textured Kvadrat and Camira wools to rich Sorensen leathers—effortlessly injecting a sense of sculptural warmth and responsible luxury into cozy residential reading corners and modern open-plan corporate lounges
