The Vipp In-House Design Team, based in Copenhagen and led since 2006 by Chief Designer Morten Bo Jensen, carries forward the rigorous functional legacy founded by Holger Nielsen in 1939. Rooted in the engineering of Nielsen’s iconic pedal bin, the studio approaches every object not as disposable decoration, but as an enduring mechanical tool shaped by powder-coated steel, cast aluminum, and tactile durability. The team transformed Vipp from a maker of single utility items into a cohesive lifestyle brand. Their portfolio spans the modular Vipp Kitchen, the architectural Vipp Shelter, and the refined 524/521 Desk & Wall Lamp collection, alongside upholstered seating and solid-stone dining tables. Every piece emphasizes quiet monochrome minimalism, visible mechanical fasteners, and materials that resist passing trends.
