Danish industrial design partnership Steffensen & Würtz—founded in Aalborg by Thomas Steffensen and Pia Würtz Mogensen—is celebrated for an elemental design language that softens clean Scandinavian functionalism through tactile curves and material honesty. For Danish brand Bolia, they created the popular Vig outdoor furniture series, the Cora seating line, and the Alva lighting collection. Their work for Warm Nordic, WOUD, and FDB Møbler explores steam-bent solid woods, powder-coated metals, and textured fabrics designed for residential relaxation. They prioritize intuitive handling, circular longevity, and calm proportions.
