Nils Fischer

German industrial designer Nils Fischer is recognized for bringing pragmatic engineering, crisp functional lines, and versatile durability to contemporary furniture and objects. Educated in product design at Fachhochschule Potsdam and Swinburne University in Melbourne, he founded Studio Nils Fischer in Berlin, working across industrial equipment, homeware, and furniture. Fischer achieved notable international recognition through his design collaboration with Danish brand HAY. For HAY, he conceived the Neu Table series—a family of versatile indoor and outdoor tables engineered with cast-aluminum bases, slender steel columns, and weather-resistant electro-galvanized tops.
