BThe Muuto Design Team—operating from the brand’s headquarters in Copenhagen—acts as the strategic and technical core guiding one of Scandinavia's most influential contemporary labels. Rooted in the Finnish concept muutos (meaning "new perspective"), this in-house collective of designers and engineers evolves traditional Scandinavian design. Working alongside world-renowned external collaborators, the internal team oversees the technical development, circular sustainability standards, and material performance of modern icons like the Stacked Storage System, the Fiber Chair family, and the Outline Sofa. They focus on introducing recycled wood-fiber plastics, circular upholstery textiles, and modular engineering into daily living.
