Louise Liljencrantz

Stockholm-based interior architect and designer Louise Liljencrantz is internationally acclaimed for her warm, sculptural approach to contemporary luxury. Founded in 2009, her studio, Liljencrantz Design, crafts residential and commercial interiors defined by rich textures, organic contours, and a muted, earthy palette that pairs Nordic restraint with mid-century grandeur. Liljencrantz gained widespread global recognition through her collaboration with Danish brand &Tradition. For the brand, she conceived the iconic Margas lounge chair and sofa collection—named after her beloved grandmother Marga von Dardel and characterized by curved upholstered volumes resting on solid turned-wood legs. In 2020, she also launched her bespoke furniture line, Veermakers, showcasing solid walnut, mahogany, and honed stone crafted by Swedish artisans.
