Black Lacquered Beech
$629.46 AUD

The dining chair, J42, is a classic cane chair, originally designed by Børge Mogensen for FDB and here relaunched by Danish HAY. Mogensen insisted on function: that his chairs fit those who needed them, and not the other way around. Quality, simplicity, clear, clean aesthetics and precise proportions repeat themselves in Børge Mogensen's furniture, which helped shape Danish modernism.
The J42 features a curved backrest and angled armrests constructed with precise proportions and simple lines. The chair has a wide plywood seat and a frame made of solid oak or beech, offering timeless quality and lasting comfort. Available in oiled, matte lacquered, or painted finishes, this chair is a beautiful classic with elegant design and excellent seating comfort.
