Rooted in Malmö, Sweden, luxury bed and furniture manufacturer DUX has stood at the intersection of sleep science and timeless Scandinavian comfort since 1926. Stewarded across four generations of the Ljung family, the DUX Design Team serves as the brand’s technical and creative core, advancing an engineering philosophy focused on physical well-being, structural longevity, and natural materiality. The in-house creative team is celebrated for integrating proprietary mechanical innovations—such as the patented continuous steel coil spring system—into refined upholstered furniture. Beyond preserving mid-century heritage icons by Bruno Mathsson, like the Jetson and Pernilla armchairs, the team designs contemporary classics including the modular Lunaria and Supra bed frames, the tailored Ritzy leather sofa, and architectural headboards. Every piece is crafted using sustainable materials like slow-grown Swedish pine, resilient latex, and long-staple cotton.
