Simon Jones

British architect and designer Simon Jones is recognized for an elemental approach that treats furniture as small-scale architecture. Educated in architecture at the Royal College of Art in London, Jones founded Simon Jones Studio in 2010, focusing on bespoke exhibition architecture, spatial installations, and utilitarian timber furniture. Jones achieved international prominence through his fruitful collaboration with Danish design house HAY. He designed the acclaimed Triangle Leg series—a family of round and rectangular tables alongside matching benches engineered from solid oak. The collection is celebrated for its distinctive triangular-profile wooden legs, which visually lighten the solid-wood construction while maximizing seating clearance.
