Vilardell achieved international prominence through his prolific, long-standing partnership with Spanish lighting brand Vibia. His defining creations include the sculptural Puck wall and ceiling series, the Join blown-glass lamp, and the innovative Wind outdoor lighting collection, characterized by weather-resistant filament-wound fiberglass shades. Together with Meritxell Vidal, he also developed the versatile Halley and Suite architectural systems.
