Standing on Kongens Nytorv since 1755, Hotel d'Angleterre is Copenhagen's grand dame of luxury hospitality. The most ambitious hotel restoration in Danish history — overseen by C.F. Møller Architects — gutted and rebuilt the interiors while preserving the white-stuccoed neoclassical façade and ornate period details. Public spaces marry crystal chandeliers, parquet floors and original mouldings with carefully curated contemporary art and bespoke furnishings, creating a layered tableau where 18th-century formality meets refined Nordic restraint.
