Austrian design studio EOOS—founded in Vienna in 1995 by Martin Bergmann, Gernot Bohmann, and Harald Gründl—is internationally celebrated for its research-driven methodology called "Poetical Analysis." Meeting while studying at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, the trio investigates intuitive archetypes to shape modern living. The studio has authored award-winning systems for premier global manufacturers. For Walter Knoll, they designed defining contract landmarks including the Turtle lounge chair and Jaan sofa family. Their lighting portfolio includes the Talany and Squash luminaires for Zumtobel, alongside sustainable kitchen concepts for Bulthaup and progressive sanitary systems for Laufen and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
