Swiss industrial designer Dimitri Bähler (b. 1988) is celebrated for an exploratory approach operating at the boundary of spontaneous studio craft and industrial manufacturing. Educated at ECAL in Lausanne and the Design Academy Eindhoven, he founded his Biel-based practice in 2014, earning multiple Swiss Design Awards. Bähler gained prominent international acclaim through partnerships with leading progressive design labels. For Danish brand HAY, he created the Volet Hook—an extruded aluminum wall hook with folded wings that conceal mounting screws—and the playful Arcs collection. For Muuto, he designed the Attach coat hook, balancing wood and metal. He also collaborates with Established & Sons, Hermès, and Vaarnii.
